The Artist Showcase is a monthly introduction of aspiring artists to spark conversation on art and culture, bring recognition to local talents, and inspire like-minded STORiES customers.

Rebecca digs into the phenomenon and exhibits her isolation experience through visual means of acrylic paintings with expressive marks, postcards to communicate relatable lockdown stories.

Teaming up with local botanical stylist Botanic Union @botanic_union, we have curated hand painted plant pots to represent 5 types of personalities under the quarantine life in response to the rising interest in DIY interior design and plant buying.

HKwalls Festival 2018 -- Sai Ying Pun

HKWALLS 2018 in Central & Western District

the 5th edition of HKwalls took place in March, 2018, in Central & Western District.”HKwalls is back again to take over the boring, concrete slabs of the city with vivid, thought provoking street art — and just in time for Art Month. This year’s lineup features artists from Hong Kong and across the globe who specialize in a variety of styles, from the cartoony liveliness of Hong Kong’s Zoie Lam (aka Zlism) to the Escher-like detail of Spain’s Cinta Vidal.” - The Loop, 2018

HAJI Gallery presents "TWENTYBLISS"

Curatored by Sarah Kohler  -   http://www.twentybliss.tumblr.com/

This is a collection of artists at different points of their early-twenties and what they have found within themselves through chaos. The arrival into a new decade seemingly serves as an empowering event and the more power we have, the greater the responsibilities. We can make choices. All of this only leads to numbing confusions. It’s whatever you want it to be.

There’s an obsession with being a twenty-something. People go through it and think they know exactly what it was, but in reality, it’s all a blur. It’s messy, it’s incoherent and it’s emotional. Every one is constantly trying to define it, everybody thinks we hit that wall and rise up better than ever because we’ve mastered being a twenty-something. That boost of confidence and drive is fuelled by nothing but the purest form of bliss. It’s a period of being re-born, of re-discovering, re-connecting and co-existing. Enjoying the highest highs and the lowest lows. We learn to feel everything and nothing. It’s when we realise that it’s all happening and we let it happen.

We’re just a bunch of twenty-somethings though. What do we know?
